Gift Certificates- Oakland Photographer

With the busy holiday season, my apologies for not posting photos of your family and little ones on our blog-- it's not for lack of interesting and beautiful subjects, I've just been busy actually getting the packages retouched and out to you (that and marinating turkeys!) For those who have not taken advantage of our 2008 Holiday promotion, I just wanted to send out a buzz-- buy a gift certificate for a friend or family member (expires November 2009) before the end of December 2008 and lock in on our Photo Session and Premium Package for $200. If you know of someone who is getting engaged, giving birth, or celebrating their 1st birthday, in 2009, what better gift to give?

Holiday Promotion

I know that I promised to send out a promotional e-mail on November 1st but I've not had the time to design it yet so if you are a loyal subscriber to this blog site, here's a heads up!

For the months of November through mid-December have your pick of one of two promotions. We're offering a 1-2 hour photo sitting and in addition to online uploads, you can have your choice of 25 photo holiday cards (Christmas/Kwanzaa/Hanukah/New Year/Custom) or a premium photo package (1-8x10, 2-5x7, 8-wallets) for $200. This package is valued at $375* so don't miss out, schedule a sitting! Refer a friend and receive a $20 print credit once your friend has completed their photo session.

It's Officially Fall!- Oakland Children's Photographer

I had a wonderful time getting acquainted with Everett last weekend. He is the baby to happy vegetarian parents so only a Cornucopia-esque setting would do. My autumn harvest set would have been pretty bland without this little "sweet pea" to adorn it!

Our last wedding of the year!- Oakland Wedding Photographer

Cheers to Nick and Angela!! They had a beautiful wedding over the weekend on a warm and beautiful day. This was our last wedding of the year (our fourth). I just wish that I could tag along and photograph the honeymoon in Australia! Have fun you two and thanks!

Updates

September was a busy month for Photography by Kemmeo and it was advised that I place a copyright embossing on all of my online images (seeing as Ad agencies have been known to swipe images and then they end up in some ad in Bangladesh without compensation). This way there are no excuses-- they know who the image belongs to. Well with loads of retouching, a mobile 11 month old, travel, guests and this new launch, you can just imagine how dedicated I was to figuring out how to remove the white from my logo so that it's freestanding, how to make the logo white, how to create an "action" so it stamps on my images. Are you all getting any of this? The final straw (which you'll see in these) is how to resize the logo-- I've barely figured out how to stamp it!

Well, speaking of stamping I just had to post a few images from our shoot a couple of weeks ago. What made it so fun and challenging is my client wanted her daughters, their horses, her husband's horse and their golden retriever to all be looking at the camera! It was both fun and educational! Did you know that you're never supposed to stand directly behind a horse? Thank you for your patience ladies-- I'm sure that one of these will make a wonderful Christmas card photo! And for all the rest of you-- be sure to check your e-mail November 1st for our Holiday promotion!

Ceremony at SF City Hall- Oakland Wedding Photographer

I recently photographed the ceremony of Grace and Gideon. I had never been in San Francisco City Hall before and I was enamored with the beautiful backdrop. Beautiful view, beautiful exchanges...thank you Grace and Gideon. Here's a peek of the day from my lens!

That's What Girls Are Made Of...

A few photos of the cutest little Fairy (she likes Tinkerbell). A tad camera shy in costume but I have yet to retouch the images of her rocking out on the accoustic guitar). And since the set was already up, I had to throw on an equally as cute little hobbit! Enjoy!
