One Day Only - Oakland Portrait Photographer

I may do this again because it was such a popular event. I created a set and invited friends, family and a few previous clients (along with their friends and families) over within a 4 hour slot to have a portrait taken. We had a pretty good turnout. The sitting is free and folks only pay for prints. It's a great way to waive the sitting fee if you and several of your friends would like to have formal portraits taken of your families. Contact us to arrange something. Sorry for those of you who could not make it (I only gave 24 hours notice) but I will be doing it again-- Perhaps for Christmas? In any case, here are a few from the sessions. I was happy that some of our neighborhood kids were able to participate!

Counting Down- Oakland Maternity Photographer

This Mama and I had grand and ambitious plans to go to the Redwoods or by the sea (where she and her hubby love to hike and ride their bikes) in order to take her maternity shots. Well, in these waning weeks, fatigue set in and we barely squeezed this one in. In the end a living room and bedroom were the most comforting and convenient spaces for this Mama-to-be! And if she's anything like her Mama, this little girl is going to be a beauty to photograph! At least we were able to get this lifelong Yogi in a pose!

I'm Not Sure If You're Checking E-mail from the Volcanic vistas of Hawaii- Montclair Wedding Photographer

But if you are, here's a preview of what's to come! Brenna and Andrew thank you so much for allowing my team and I to be a part of your very special day-- it was absolutely lovely and I cried twice! Your mother did a fantastic job on both yours and her dress and your bridesmaid's dresses complemented your theme beautifully. Enjoy your honeymoon!
Cheers.

This Year's Lucky Winner!- Oakland Children's Photographer

Dane is approaching his first year and what a lucky boy he is to be so loved! His mom being the clever stylist, saw to it that all three of them were dressed in their black Converse sneakers. Dane wasn't too crazy about the idea but we snapped a few and someday they can look back and chuckle. Be sure to subscribe to the site to be notified of future offers from Photography by Kemmeo so you too can be a winner. Thank you guys for a seamless shoot and handsome models!!

Somebody's Getting Married!- Oakland Wedding Photographer

Here is a preview of today's engagement portrait session. We had a lovely morning session in the Berkeley Rose Garden. Brenna and Andrew told me once we wrapped things up that they were heading over to the Grand Lake Theater to buy tickets for the highly anticipated premiere showing of Harry Potter. The Grand Lake being both my husband and my favorite landmarks in Oakland (we always attend their matinees) is a special place. My husband remembers seeing ET and Star Wars there with his father as a child. Well, seeing as Brenna is also an Oakland native, I knew that I had to get some shots of them outside with the marquee and peeling paint the the Grand Lake is locally famous for. I have a feeling that years from now when their grandchildren are looking at that photo, Harry Potter will be as classic to them as Breakfast at Tiffany's was for me. Enjoy this sneak peek and thank you for a beautiful morning- there's nothing like love and roses.
