This Shoot Made Me Teary- Oakland Family Portrait Photographer
I was called back last Saturday by a family whose wedding I photographed this summer. This time it was to take a few portraits for the Father of the Bride's 50th birthday! The photos of Jim and his mother made me teary because I saw myself in them. Myself in my 70's! Will my son (now just a toddler) someday tower over me and kiss and embrace me and make me blush? Oh just the thought gives me goose bumps! I hope that you had a wonderful celebration surrounded by your beautiful family and friends. Enjoy this sneak peek!
I enjoy watching city lights bleed like watercolor on pavement after a rain. I chuckle when my toddler hides under the duvet to play peek-boo whenever I try to make my bed. I love that moment when a trembling bride who has just started down the aisle locks eyes with her fiance and then exhales. As a photographer, I enjoy the challenge of capturing what was just 1/60 of a second glance in the other direction. I've created this blog to share the way that I see the world, with the world. Enjoy!
